How to Kill Monsters in R.E.P.O.

There are multiple ways to kill enemies in R.E.P.O.:
Pits: Instantly destroy monsters and release their orb.
Environmental Damage: Throw them into walls or floors while stunned.
Item Bashing: Using heavy or sharp objects with momentum.
Team Slams: Several players can smash small enemies like Gnomes or Rugrat.
Be cautious: repeated melee increases your overcharge meter, which can cause you to explode if not managed properly.

Orb Drops and Loot

When monsters are killed, they drop Valuable Orbs (loot). Each monster can drop a maximum of 3 orbs, which:
Are invincible for 5 seconds after spawning
Have a unique value depending on monster type
Disappear if more than 10 orbs exist on the map
Some monsters are easier to kill than others, but all can drop loot if dealt with strategically.

Monster Spawning and Respawning

Monster spawning is based on your current world level. As the level increases, more monsters appear and of higher difficulty tiers. Monsters spawn far from the truck and will engage if a player approaches or another monster attacks.
After a few minutes, monsters can despawn and later respawn at increased frequency depending on time and noise. Musical items such as the guitar, piano, and harp significantly reduce monster respawn time.
